Maddie helped me cook today....she mashed some potatoes and poured in the different ingrediences - very cute! The turkey turnded out nice and juicy....and gravy was yummy!! (Pat myself on the back....hehe)
Only Maddie could stomac desert.....but then she "passed out" too :)

How much more fun and excitement can it be for a kid????Maddie is 3 1/2 and she GOT it now! Lil Guy could care less....poor lil pumpkin. Anyway, we met up for some trick or treat with Maddies best friend Emilie (and sis Whitney....they were both NEMO - very cute!!!!)We went for some serious tricks/treats down the road, and had a blast!!! We also hit the building where we live......awesome stuff!! Even Mom and Dad got a "little" into it hahah

Sorry, its been so long since last update.....but its called 'life' ;)
My progress so far is been very well. In the gym 5x a week now, and lost 8lbs. I've been at a 'stand-still' for a week, so hopefully it will keep moving again soon...
Other than that I've had a 'fall cleanout' of our place.....lots of my clothes OUT and lots of kid stuff thats to small etc....its a drag to get started on that kinda stuff, but feels great when its done!!
Lil' guy got his first tooth this week - YAAAY!! He will be 9 months the 20th, and working on pulling himself up....cruising around :)
Got my daugther a cute Super Girl costume for Halloween, and she is so excited! Will post photos later....
I also have some possible TV work in process.....stay tuned!

Yes! I'm doing great with the workouts and my diet these days. I've lost about 4 lbs so far....and I'm not feeling so sluggish and sooooore at the gym.

Ok, so I'm trying agaiiin to get into great shape! I dissapointed u all, included myself last time.....but this time I'm "mad"....and I mean business. Watch me!!!
So far I lost 2 1/2 lbs....and I would like to loose another 8-10.
I've been hitting the gym 3-4 x pr week....and also throwing in a BIG part of my workout to TRX Suspension Training. I can do that ANYWHRE, as long as I got a "hook up place".....it works the whole body (whith body resistance...) love, love, love it!
Let me know if you wanna join me.....its so cool, and we can stay out doors doing it!

We had a small sermony in The Norwegian Seamen's Church in San Pedro, July 19th - when he was 1 day shy of 6 months.

We spent the night in Anaheim (near Disney) at Howard Johnson's resort. They've got this big, fun water park there and its tons of fun for water-loving kiddos :)
I swear to God, Maddie looked like a prune when she finally got outta there lol....
Chris is always a trooper (even with a cold) and he just cries when hungry or tired....he got his "tippie-toes" dipped, too ;)

We took our kids to their first BIG Fair......Chris didnt aknowledge a whole lot, but Maddie had a big blast! Rides, rides everywhere.....mommy got tired, sundburned, but still happy because her kid (s) had fun.....Thats what its all about, right?

Jennifer and I took the kiddos to SM Pier for some fun-rides today....got an unlimited pass, and maddie ahd the time of her life!!
Maddie is such a fearless lil girl and wanted to do it ALL at once....then twice :)
I took her on the big Ferris Wheel and we got a good look over Santa Monica Beach and the pretty ocean....then we had to finish up with a yummy ice-cream in the heat.

Thanks Jen, for helping looking after Chris....he was being a good boy though, and he was so content in your arms. Awwwwwww...

I hope everyone had a nice 4th of July.
I took our daugther to see ICE AGE, and she loved it! Even more so the big popcorn ;)

I FINALLY got around to get my hair done, after 6 months covered in spit up, sleepless nights and diaper changes. Lil guy is now only waking for 1 feeding per night insted of 3... So, that helps a lot!

Had to get a new phone today since my old broke....got the new Blackberry Curve and so far I like it a lot!

I wanted to do this for a whole week now, and finally I did. I had a meeting with my friend Beatrice of "Bizzy B of Hollywood", and had the perfect oportunity to walk down the street to pay my respect to Michael Jackson. I thought it would be a long, long wait in line to get to his star, but it wasn't that bad at all....There were flowers and cards all around and along his star, and people are getting ready for his Memorial on Tuesday morning at the Staples Center and Nokia Theatre. I entered the drawing for 2 tickets to attend the memorial, so I will know Sunday if I'm chosen (But, with MILLIONS of people trying to get their hands on the 11.500 tickets, I'm not keeping my hopes too high).

Mari came to visit again yesterday, and Maddie always have lots of fun with her. She got to try her motorcycle helmet and gloves and was in heaven! The helmet was probably heavier than her, which almost made her tip over ---- LOL!!

Soooo, we had the best weekend in a long, long time! We went down to my best friend, Mari's place in Dana Point/Monarc Beach and spent the whole day with BBQ, swimming, chatting and just hanging out. Maddie spent a good 5 hours in the pool (I kid you not) and she looked like a prune when she came back up lol.
Marc BBQ'ed w/ Brad, and they went for a bike ride as the girls catched up on some gossip ;)
Ryan came by with his 2 cute girls, and at the end of the day we all came out a bit sun burned but good :)

We took a little trip down to San Pedro aquarium last weekend. Maddie looooves to watch the fish and especially facinated by the HUGE lobster!!! (ME TOO!!)
Then a quick stop at the beach (gloomy weather and cold), and then stopped by the Norwegian Seamens Church. We Baptised Maddie there, so will do the same with Chris :)

I've been pretty upset and a bit depressed this week. I got sick AGAIN!!!!!!!
This never ends! Its my 4th fever in 3 months, and with a BAD cough! My imune system must be rock bottom after birth this time. I'm usually never sick, so this is terrible. Finally getting a bit better, but it made me so mad. I was doing so well with my workouts, and then I get another set back....blah!!!
Anyway....Chris is growing and had doubled in weight since birth. he is so alert and smiles a whole lot. He is now getting more interactive and he tries to follow and look at everything around him :) he will be 4 months May 20th!
Maddie is still the greatest Big Sister to him, and I cant wait for them to start playing together. We got her a new swimsuit, and I want to teach her to swim soon. I need to get her to the pool more often, cuz she loves the water so much. She couldn't wait to try the suit, so she insisted on taking her bath with it on TWICE!! LOL
Sunday is Norway's 17. Mai celebration, so we might go do some traditional stuff with the Norwegian 'gang'....HURRA for 17. mai med is, brus, polser og vaffler. hehe

Happy Mothersday to all you amazing Mommy's out there!!!
It's my first Mothersday as a Mom of TWO!!
Maddie woke me up with some cards from her and Chris and a present (perfume, bracelet and ear rings), and she just melted my heart. "Happy Mothersday., Mommy"!! Thats all I needed right there.....it really made me happy and it kinda sinks in a bit more that I'm actually a MOTHER!! LOL! She also made a cute 'card' for me in school. THANK YOU!! :)
Then Daddy took us all out for breakfast! I'm sure I've gained 2-3 lbs over the weekend, so I better suck it up and get back on track this week!

Today we went to Aunt Gina & Uncle Tim's place for BBQ. It was an early Mothersday celebration. Mommy got some beautiful flowers, card and some $$$. We BBQ'ed
marinated chicken and steaks, baked potatoes, grilled peppers, salad etc....and ended with some yummy lemon cake and ice cream!!! There went the diet... down the drain. LOL!! It was all worth it, and we all gotta enjoy every now and then, right?

Jennifer and I introduced our babies for the first time face to face. They were so adorable together enjoying the park and the sun.
We did our 5 rounds in the park (about 40 min) walk/run.I was hurting from yesterday, so only did some abs. jen did a full body workout. You go girl!

Oh Boy, did I have a rough night with my kids. My 3 year old was up 5 times during the night crying and screaming, had to pee, wanted water, and complaining about ear ace. Then I have the lil guy needing his feedings 2-3 times pr night. So, as you can tell it didn't leave many hrs for Mommy to sleep. UGH!
I sooooo wanted to drop the workout today, but having the scheduled appointment with Jennifer helped me get there. When we finally got started, it was actually a GOOD workout. 40 min cardio and full body workout.
Then I had to go to the doctor with lil guy cuz of bad rash all over his body. It seemed to just be very dry skin and I got some creams for it. Hopefully he will get better soon!
Beeing a Mom is hard work, but I can take it ;)

So, today I decided to get my butt down to the beach. I feel ashamed to not use the beatiful nature/scenery we have here in So Cal. I drowe 5 min down to Santa Monica beach, parked the car and took the lil guy in the jogger-stroller. BEAUTIFUL, sunny day! It started a bit rough with a crying baby and I thought I had to return home. But, I sat down and fed him good for 15 min, and then he was a whole different boy :)
I swiched from power walk to jog and it felt great! I spent 90 min there, and ended up downing a refreshing Lemonade from the famous Hot Dog/Lemonade stand down at Santa Monica Pier. Got a few scenery pics as well + 1 of me being silly thinking that I still got some muscles going for me;)
I will do this more often!! Promise....

Monday Workout

Another great workout!! Beautiful weather in SO Cal, and perfect for an outdoor sweat! Today I worked out with my very good freind, Jennifer (yes, I DO have 2 girlfriends with that name). We power walked a few rounds before doing some body-work with bands, weights and body-weight. We were both huffing and puffing, but it still felt great! We ended with a few hill sprints - ouch!
Good job, Jen!!!! We both want those 10 lbs ;)

It was a beautiful day out today, so we decided to go for a walk around the wetlands in Playa Del Rey. We saw lots of different birds, butterflies and insects. Very cool for a 3-year old!

Sweating it out in the park today!
I met up with my good friend Jenny. She just had a baby 1 month ago, so we are a good fit for couple workout. We power walked 5 rounds (about 40 min) and did body work with bands and small dumbbells. It was a good 1+ hour workout and it felt great! The babies were behaving, but got HUNGRY at the end......home to feeding ;)
I'm down to 141.0......so 3lbs to go to be my pre-prego weight. BUT, goal is 130!!

OK, got the 'bug' outta me, and started back on training schedule again today. Keeping it light, but thats fine cuz this body feels 'rotten' LOL!
Did a full body workout with Marc and 20 min on the bike. Energy pretty low, but I dont expect a whole lot after such a long lay-off!

It was a great day yesterday and we headed out to Malibu for some food and play.
Everything was fine, and we even saw Chris Rock being hunted down by all the papparazzies playing with his kids in the toddler park. You gotta feel sorry for the celebs at times.....they cant friggin go anywhere without the papz aiming their huge lenses. I counted 6-7 of them with cameras AND video cameras...

Anyway, we had a sandwich and went to the newly opened LUMBER YARD. So far everything was 'normal'....until we got home. I started feeling a bit nausious, and shiver a little. Didnt think much of it, until it got real bad. So sick to my stomac and fever went to almost 103F in matter of 1-2 hrs. WTH.....I thought I was well DONE with being sick for the year, and here we go again......pjuking all night with the dry hives (GREAT!!) so discustely and painful. So, I'm guessing it must have been food poisoning? We ate the same, except for I had MAJO on mine.....thats the only thing I can think of. I feel better now. Not sick to my stomac, but still some fever...hopefully its a 'bug' that will be gone by tomorrow? YUK!

Today was a TOUGH day!! I hardly slept any last night due to 1 kid having night mares and waking me up twice. The newborn wakes up 2-3 times for feedings, so that didnt leave much sleep for mommy. Sleep is very important to me, and if I don't get what my body needs, I break down easy......which I DID!
Had scheduled a workout with Marc, but with no sleep and a grumpuy 3-year old not wanting to get ready for school, it was a rough start. I finally got my butt on the bike and did 20 min before I started with Marc. He had a full body workout on the menu.........and I just started crying. Overwhelmed I guess, and cried through the first 3rd of my workout - REALLY I DID! Not bawling, but tears running.....(it sounds pathetic as I write it now....but one of those days)
I managed to finish, inbetween grunting, tears and a few bad words...took a shower and felt somewhat better. The scale said I GAINED 1/2 a lbs since yesterday!!?? GREAT!
Tomorrow might be a better day.....please stay tuned!

It's been 3 days of working out, and my body is in shock! It's like it says; "what the heck is going on here? I dont like this, I'm hurting...." LOL!
Anywas....I've sceduled 2 more workouts this week and take the weekend off.
And, why is it that everytime your mind is set into diet/exercise mode.....then it starts wanting everything? i lost 1 lbs, so I'll keep on plugging....

It's time to start working out! Oh boy, its been 1 year since I worked out.....
9 months pregnant and baby is now 3 months old today. I'm so out of shape, its not even funny. I did 20 min on the bike (with fuzzy baby in my arms) and some light functional training (bodyweight and light dumbbells)
I figured if I document this on my blog, that I will have a 'goal' and stick to it easier (help me please!!!)
Soooo, I was 144 lbs this morning (138 before I got pregnant with 2nd baby), which is OK on the scale, but not on my body. 138 won't look like 138 before, to put it that way! So, I'm not sure where I need to end up to be where I want to be, but at LEAST 10 lbs!! So my goal is somewhere in the 130-135 range, and then see waz up!

I will have my husband Marc Natividad (personal trainer of the YEAR at Spectrum Club S.M) train me, and I'm gonna be more active on my own as well. Clean up the eating habits, and see how it goes.
Getting started sux for me, like any other.......but I NEED TO DO IT!

I had a great time with my family visiting from Norway. It was their first time meeting our newborn.....They stayed for 2 weeks and we had fun catching up and running around L.A ;)

Easter morning Maddie woke up to a Easter Egg Hunt....She was so thrilled that the Easter Bunny came to visit her.....

OK, Folks....lets put in our 1 hour of effort to 'save' the enviroment! The whole world is participating in this 1 hour event. It means that we turn off all our electrisity, meaning computers, light, micro waves, TV, etc , etc...for 1 hour tonight between 8;30pm and 9;30 pm.

Together we can make a difference!!

Other than that, everything is going smoothly.....baby Chris is growing steadily, and Maddie is such a trooper! We're all awaiting my parents arrival this coming Thursday.....yeah!!!

So my big girl is officially THREE years old!! I still got it fresh in my mind the day we brought her home from the hospital......time flies, but I try my best to savor evey moment and developement. Now, she is also a big sister and she's doing an awesome job at it! She is so loving...

We threw her a birthday bash at one of the LA parks. It was fun, even though the wind blew most of our decorations away :)

Oh Boy....it's been a rough couple of weeks.........

First my husband was sick....then Maddie was sick and now I'm sick with the flu (getting better as of today). But, the main scare/drama was when our baby boy ended up in ER after choking on his spit up and stopped breathing for a little while. I'm not gonna go into deep details, but we ended up spending 48 hrs in the hospital. They did all kinds of tests just to make sure he was OK. Thank God, everything is fine, and hopefully I dont have experience such a scare again.......ever!!! (They think he "just" have acid reflux).

Anyhow....it's Maddie's 3rd birthday, March 3rd, and we are throwing her a party on Sunday. She is so excited, and she will have some freinds form pre school and family to join her on her special day! I will post pictures of the fun next week :)

PS!! When I get over this flu, I'm getting back into training (at least thats my plan...)

I havent done anything since birth 5 weeks ago (well make that 7 months including pregnancy), and I got at least 8-9 lbs to loose to get to my pre pregnancy weight.....but I want to loose maybe 12-15lbs....we'll see. wish me luck!!

Happy Valentine's Day, Everyone!

I hope you get to spend time with the one(s) you love the most!

We made a bunch of Valentine's card for everyone in Maddie's pre school, so she will have a blast today....and probably coming home with a "candy-face" :)

It will be our lil' man's FIRST Valentine's Day, but I dont think I can possibly kiss him any more than I already have :)

I love my 2 kids so much!!

Of course we also got a little something for Daddy, too.....It will be our 8th Valentines Day together. You're a great DAD, Husband and a hard worker....I LOVE YOU - You're my "rock" :)

I love him so much!! He's a good little baby so far. Just cries when he's hungry or wet. Sleeps a lot and just adjusting to this 'scary' place called World. It's strange to think about he's only been BREATHING real air for 2 weeks!!! How does that work? How do they 'breath" inside??? Hmmmm, the wonders of the world.....

Maddie is being a good, big sister. She's kissing him all day long and says she loves him.....so thats good!! :)

Soooo..... Here are my before and 1 WEEK AFTER photos.....I've lost 13 lbs here, but of course its too early to start working out yet.....I'm also breast feeding, so can't really go on any stright diet.....but we'll see how it goes. Baby comes first, then we'll take care of me along the way ;)

As I thought last Tuesday morning....something was up.....more contractions, bloody show. Kept contracting all day, and around 6;00PM they got pretty strong but still 10-12 min apart, so figured I should wait and see, because I had a scheduled induction 6:00am next morning. GUESS NOT! They just came on stronger and closer FAST! By 9;15 am, I had to head to the hospital because they were so painful that I couldn't stand up stight and 5 min apart. We had a 30 min drive and they got even worse....3 min apart when arriving. Could barely make it in the hospital doors....felt sooooo much pressure. Got checked in at 10;10 PM....the head was right there and 3cm.....the contractions kept comig fast, so in just 30-40 min I was at an 8!!! PAIN!!!! begged for the epidural dude to show up......and he finally arrived - the most LOVED MAN in the world at the time. After about 15 min it kicked in good and I could relax.....not long after my water broke with a 'pop'.....the nurse checked me, and I was a !)!!!! Oh, Boy, I couldn't belive how fat this went. I know 2nd babies comes faster, but wow. I was ready to push and the head was already visable at the first practise push......4 pushes later Chris was born with a BIG scream! He was tiny, but perfect!
So, we got an INAGURAL BABY by 2 min.....(11;58PM the 20th) .... I guess he wanted a piece of history ;)

It's finally here.....(39 weeks + 3 days)....I'm in early labor and been contracting through the night with bit of bleeding. Nothing bad right now, but its getting near.

Its such an amazing feeling and process, and a bit surreal. Maddie is super excited and talking about him every day....I know she will be a GREAT big sister :)

Wish me luck and wish for an easy labor and delivery.....I'll post photos of the new addition ASAP!

This was the first xmas than Maddie really understood more about xmas, and she was so excited!! Thais was also my 2nd time being highly pregnant during this Holiday....4 weeks away now :)

Friday was a fun day in preschool for Maddie....They sang xmas songs and got to meet Santa who gave them each a present (book).

She also made cookies with Daddy (and some w/ me last week).....so now its just days before the BIG day :) She keeps telling me she's been good, so we'll just have to wait and see ;)

We had a great weekend, with a trip to downtown Disney with some shopping and dining + met up with some good friends today for pizza, Norwegian waffles and xmas "glogg' (Norwegian xmas drink).....our kids play so well together and its always a blast.

This is gonna be a HEAVY xmas.....feel like I'm tipping over soon. LOL!
We got our xmas tree yesterday and will decorate our home today. Later we're gonna head down to downtown Disney for some holiday spirit and fun for our 3 yr old daugther.

Of course I had to take some fun/silly memory photos of the "Buddah Belly".....and then Maddie wanted in on the fun, too. LOL. She is such a cutie pie....

Other than that, I'm pretty much done with the gift shopping which feels great! One less thing to worry about before delivery....

Am I gonna EXPLODE!!?? It's pretty amazing what the human body are capable of....isn't it?

Things are going really well, and I actually feel good. So far I've gained 18 lbs.....so we'll see where I end up. With our first, I gained a total of 28 lbs.....and it took me 4 months to get rid of it ;)

Last weekend, we spent some time at the pumpkin patch. I really tried to get away with ONE under my dress......but no luck ;)

I'm PREGNANT!!! 19 weeks along ....with a BOY!!!! Could't be happier, and of course we had a secret wish of a boy, since we already got Maddie :)
I can't belive she's gonna be a BIG SIS in January!!
So far I've been enjoying my pregancy without any major problems. Lets pray for a great, easy one as I had with lil' Maddie :)

Summer Vacation in Norway

So, our awaited summer vacation finally came along.....we spent 16 days in Norway with my parents. We had lots of fun - especially Maddie. She spent some quality time with her grandparents, fishing, boating, catching bugs, swimming, and enjoing great Norwegian nature. I got to meet up with some of my best friends and we had lots of BBQ's.
The only downfall with a trip like this, is the l-o-n-g flight! Its a lot for a grown up, even more so for a 2 year old. 9 hours time difference can totally throw you off for a few days.....but it was well worth it!

17th of May is Norways
National Independence Day, and back home its a HUGE day for all the kids (and grown ups) All the schools have their own orcestra and they march up and down the streets with all the kids in tow. They are all dressed up in their nicest clothes, have their Norwegian flags and sing etc.....in Oslo they line up with thousands of kids who march the streets and walk passed the King & Queens castle and greet them with music and a wave...It's a very happy day and the kids eat way too much hot dogs and ice cream :)
Soooo, since I now live in L.A and have a 2 year old daugther, I figured I had to introduce some Norwegian history and fun to her...
The Norwegian Seamen's Church put together this event every year for the Norwegians in LA. We try to mimic the 'feel' of our National day abroad, which is pretty cool..
The biggest difference this year was that in Olso it was rain and even snow some places, and here it was a heat wave of 90F, PHEW!!! Thats when a Norsk SOLO tastes REALLY good ;)

I think Mothersday was a bit too much excitment for little Maddie.....she got really sick yesterday with 104 fever. It's nothing worse than seeing your baby sick and helpless :( They are so innocent and helpless. Still sick today, but getting a bit better. So, I've been home with her 2 days doing small things around the house.
Tomorrow is Norways INDEPENDENCE DAY - 17 Mai!! HURRA!!
We might head down to San Pedro on Sunday for a celebration (if Maddie is feeling up to it) They have a parade with all the kids and their flags, games, food and fun.

Happy Mothersday to all Mom's out there!!!!
It was my 3rd, and the best so far.....
Maddie woke me up at 06:30am with a card and a COOL gift! She was saying "Happy Mothersday, Mommy" all weekend which was soooo cute!
We went out for breakfast and hung out all weekend! The bond between Mother and Daughter is a bond you can't really explain.....who knew there was room for such unconditional love.....
So, I hope you had a great time with your little one. Its a lot of work we Mom's do every day, year after year......and some say its the least 'appreciated job' there is......well, MOM's KNOW what it takes, so my hat off to all of ya ;)

I have been missing in action!!! BIG TIME!!
I'm now in the process of makeing a brand new website that will be great!
Whats new? Well.....I'm still working as a personal trainer in LA. I've started to train a girl to get ready for her first figure show. Fun and it gets me kinda back in the 'groove'....I'm also starting to promote a competition suit line called SEFA by Lena. Beautiful suits! So, for all you figure and fitness girls out there looking for high end suits, plese feel free to email me and I'll provide you with more information. I will SOON have it all up on my new site.....

Myself, I'm back into pretty good shape. I'm at a lower weight than before I got pregnant 2 years ago, so thats a great achivement for me. I don't miss competing, but I DO like to stay fit and healthy! Right now, I work out 4-6 days a week of weights and cardio, and eating cleaner :)

Our daughter just had her 2 year birthday!!! Can you belive it? Time sure flies by...
She is cute as a button, and started daycare 6 months ago. That gives me some time to do my stuff, work a little etc, etc....and she gets to play with the kids and have some fun and learn.....

We had my parents visiting from Norway over the Holidays and we had a blast! Even better --- We're going to Norway this summer! Yaaay!

Then we got flowers and went to the cemitary to visit Marc's Dad....

We went to Santa Barbara for our 3 year anniversary - to the same hotel we got married at. We brought our daugther and the dog, and had a great Family time.
I like to take at least a long weekend off and travel every other month! You can't just do the same ting in and out, work,work,work, and don't stop and smell the roses......Life is too short!

Last week I also got to meet up with some good friends that came to visit from Norway. Last time I saw them was Xmas, so it was a nice treat to get to see them again.

I also had a great meeting w/ Hilton Corp. and it looks like I will be working with them for some of their fitness stuff. I'll get to go to Memphis next month for a Grand Opening of their Corporate Gym - Brand new Precor equipment, so it will be fun to show them how it all works! ;)

We had a GREAT time in Palm Springs last weekend!! Maddie loved the pool and didn't want to get out - hehe.....It was HOT (96F) so the pool was a must.....I even got a little tan on my milky white body, lol
Other than that we BBQ'ed both evenings, and just chilled....

Last Sunday was my 2nd Mothersday, and it was a sweet one :) Maddie came with a cute card to me in bed.....and hubby with another card + a gift certificate for 1 hr massage at a spa.....I will try to get in today for that - niiiice! Then we went for a big Family lunch in Torrance, where my Sister and Brother in Law gave me a beautiful boquet of flowers and my Mother in law a nice card :)

Other than that I'm feeling a lot better this week.....went through a colon cleanse and a liver/gallbladder detox (I know, it sounds gross, but its soooo good for you!) So, I feel squeeky clean - lol -- and I feel I have more energy and that my skin is more clear!!
This Friday we will go to Palm Springs for a long weekend getaway -- I can't wait! Just relax, hang out at the pool, BBQ, play with Maddie in the pool, and spend some quality time with my husband :)

It'sbeen a while..........

.....since last post, but I'm still alive and kickin' ;)
Even tho some days lately, I've been feelin' less than 'alive'..........our baby Madelene is giving me a hard time waking up every single night for 14 months now......and I must admit I'm getting pretty SICK of it.....almost angry at times :(
I feel I need more quality sleep.....but she keeps waking for her night time feeding of milk....I love her and everything, but come on........who wouldn't get a bit 'wacked' out after a year+ with not a full nights sleep????? OK, then ;)
She's now walking like crazy - running!! So Mommy gotta be extra alret.....I can't wait for her to start talking :)

Other than that, I'm plugging along with my personal training as much as it allows by being a 'stay at home Mom'....I really try my best. I think soon, we will put her in Day Care for at least 3 days a week.....so she can play with the kids and Mommy gets a break and can work more.
I DO have another special project up my sleve very soon though.....I won't say yet, but it's pretty cool. It makes me have a 'goal' again, which is so important to me.
I'll tell you all about it later on :)

...........So I know it's been a LOT of baby pictures lately. But when such a great thing happens in your life, it kinda consumes you. I am the first to admit that you let yourself 'go' a little bit......and put yourself last (most of the time)
My workouts are not the same......my goals in life are not the same......but still there is a part of me that will always strive to be fit and healthy. I would never allow myself to get overweight, ot totally stop working out -- it is part of who I am and always will be. The intensity might not be the same.....but then again, I'm not competing. Know what I mean?

Last Saturday we had some fun bowling in Santa Monica with 12-15 others. Nice to be out and off 'baby-duty' for a change ;)
I SUCK bowling (well at least not great!!!), but what can you expect when it happens about evey 4th year - LOL...........anyhow it was a blast!!

For those of you interested..........I got a 6 page spread in OXYGEN magazine this month! It's a pregnancy shoot I did when I was about 7 months pregnant with Madelene.....(I know - its a while back, but such a great keepsake for us to have)......

It's a bit weird to think about she's already 1 years old and so active now!! Here's a few pics from when I was pregnant and from today when we went to the Gymboree playday :)

She took her first steps today.......it was about 3 steps and down she went - hehe.....but very cool, because both Marc and I were here to see it!!

I'll say within a month she'll be pretty confident walking on her own :)

She also LOVES to play with our dog Teddy.....They fight over the toys, and she likes to take his bed from him .....but it's all good ;)

So, I got sick of my blonde hair with dark roots.....I like it but its such high maintenance and expensive, too........so I colored it myself last night..........and now I hate it! Oh well, I'll give it a week, and go for a good haircut and see if I change my mind.......My daugther started smiling and pulling it, so I don't know if that's good or bad. Hmmm.....

I finally got rid of my 2000 Hyundai Tiburon, and we got a 2007 Audi A3........its more Family friendly and rides VERY smooth!!! I like it a lot!
It's mostly a car for my hubby, and I'll still be driving our Chevy Blazer awhile longer.......but thinking of changing it for a Ford Escape or an Chevy Equinox.

My site is still being worked on and hopefully you'll like the new layout/look + the Member section. Feel free to give me some feedback!!

I've been feeling a bit tired the last week or two and I couldn't think of 'why'.....until today. I've been going to a ciropractor the last month for my back, and I guess the readjusting takes a bit of a toll on the body/energy levels (at least thats the only thing I can think of..........oh except for a teething baby....ha!)
We had a nice Baptism for Maddie last Sunday, and she looked like a little Angel :) She did well and didn't cry....Afterwards we headed out for a nice lunch with the Family. Yummmy Mexican food ;)

I've had some BAD back pain the last few days....and had trouble sleeping last nite. I woke up HURTING, and headed for the ciropractor after my 2 clients......I havent seen one in probably 10 years!!! I got some deep massage and some GOOD, DEEP adjustments of the whole spine + neck......kinda 'scary' but it feels good at the same time ,KWIM?
Sooooo, my right leg is actually 9 mm shorter than the left - iiiiiiiiiks. So, I need to use this heel insert all the time which should make my back feel better after a while (I hope)
No one is perfect - thats for sure - LOL :)
